“ I've been back a few times for the essentials, my stance on the previous items I'd purchase stands but I recently tried their carnitas and they're actually really tasty. Pro tip, stick the in the air fryer or oven and broil them for a bit if you like them crispy. Even though this store is not close to my house I make the trek because I like it. The staff is nice, place is organized and clean, and I love hearing the churning of the tortilla machine it brings back memories of my childhood in México going to buy tortillas at the local tortillería. ”
“ Great quality carne asada choices, delicious pan dulce and pork tamales. And the chicharrones! Yum! Service is amazing at the butcher counter, not so much from the cashiers but not terrible. Definitely recommend. ”
“ This is our go to Mexican bakery. They roll them right out of the bakery on these roll carts still in their baking trays. We love the cupcakes. The grocery store also has an excellent meat section and candy selection. The only key thing missing is a Mexican soda. There is always plenty of cashiers and people to help. ”
“ This place is amazing! I'm originally from Gilroy, California so naturally, seeing everything inside the store reminds me of my hometown! I LOVE the carnitas they sell, so delicious... I enjoy making burritos and quesadillas with them and having them for lunch. Of course, couldn't leave the store without buying some cookies, a flan, and a tres leche! In addition, the employees are super friendly and helpful here, will continue to come here when I'm around town! Tip of advice for everyone: Although there are a couple of employees that can speak English if you don't speak Spanish, I still recommend you know a good amount of Spanish just to play it safe because generally most of the employees only speak Spanish (which was okay with me because I can speak Spanish fluently as well!) ”
“ What a great place to shop. The bakery choices are unbelievably delicious, picked up Tres Leche cake which is scrumptious. The variety is bountiful throughout the store, from dips, desserts, meats. The To Go burrito/tamales counter is mouth watering delicious. ”
“ My family and I were looking for a place where they sell masa to make our traditional tamales for Christmas. Thank goodness we found this place. They're price is resumable. My daughter decided to buy a huge tamale pot to put in the tamales. She was really happy to find them here too. See the picture. I'm grateful for this tienda, it had everything I needed. And to top it off, they sell already made tamales and carnitas. I bought two pounds of carnitas and made tacos at home- so so yummy. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Best store in the area as far as the things you want to prepare delicious meals with that Mexican/Latin flavors. Their meat has always been great and they have prepared foods, an excellent selection of pasties and cakes. . I buy my masa there to make tamales and it's always been excellent. I find spices here from my home country and candies from my childhood. They gave a small produce section but it still has a great variety of fresh items . They also have imported beers and a nice housewares section . ”
